城乡居民大病保险是基本医疗保障的有益补充，对解决“因大病致贫、因大病返贫”问题具有重要意义。陕西省城乡居民大病保险自运行以来，总体上保持平稳并取得了初步成效。但在运行过程中，由于各方对政策认识程度不一、保险行业自身基础薄弱等因素，大病保险工作还存在一些问题，大病保险制度仍需要不断总结经验逐步完善。
