传承中国文化让理想中的家园与时代问题进行对话以适应新的环境，是近年来室内设计者们努力探索的主要方向。通过分析当下颇具影响力的设计案例，尝试说明室内空间场所精神的营建对于传承民族文化精髓起着至关重要的作用。
High speed development of modern society makes people live in a rapid, large, non regional, globalized and standardized world. This causes our living environment become far away from our specific region culture and humanistic spirit. The most everyday and ordinary things around us are gradually disappearing from our lives. However, the culture needs to be inherited. We can′t completely abandon them. So how we let those old memories adapt to the new environment has become the main subject to the interior designers recently. By analyzing some influential design cases nowadays, this paper attempts to tell that the genius loci constructing in interior design plays a vital role in inheriting the essence of the national culture
