Study on Countermeasures for Construction of Smarter Cities on the Silk Road Economic Belt

丝绸之路经济带战略是西部开放开发的重大战略措施，这一战略的实施必须借力新一轮信息技术革命浪潮，以信息化带动工业化、城镇化和农业现代化，以信息流整合物流、资金流、人员交流，加快丝绸之路“智慧带”建设。建设丝绸之路“智慧带”需要结合西部现有经济、产业基础和自然条件约束，制订有效的政策措施，建设沿线智慧城镇群，以信息化建设提高西部开放开发水平。
The Silk Road Economic Belt strategy is an important measure for the western development of China and its opening to the outside world. The strategy must be implemented by means of the new information technology revolution. That is to promote industrialization, urbanization and agricultural modernization with information, and to integrate the goods flow, people flow, capital flow with information flow to speed up the construction of the Silk Road Smarter Belt. Considering the economic basis in western region of China, and its industry foundation and restriction of natural conditions, countermeasures should be put forwards to establish smarter town groups in the Silk Road Economic Belt, and thus to promote the western development of China by means of information construction
