协作培养:新市民子女城市文化适应的学校支持

Abstract:
随着我国城市化进程的推进,新市民子女的相关问题受到社会各界的关注。 已有研究多集中于新市民子女遭遇的学校教育机会问题,但对其城市生活适应的细节以及深层社会结构缘由的探究略显不足。 研究以文化适应为切入点,通过家长问卷调查的方式,呈现 W 市 GX 中学学生的城市文化适应状况。 研究显示:家庭户口类型和父母职业是影响新市民子女文化适应的关键因素;城市文化冲击和生活方式的突变,导致新市民子女缺乏安全感;新市民文化意识已经有所转变,观念还在转型中;新市民仍将学校教育视为子女向上流动的主要通道和希望。 但仅依靠新市民自身的力量是难以实现城市文化适应的,故需构建以学校为主、家庭和社区为辅的三位一体协作培养模式,共同促进新市民及其子女更好地适应城市文化。
Along with the advancement of China’s urbanization process, the issues related to the children of the new citizens have attracted the attention of all sectors of the society. Most of the studies have focused on the problems of school education opportunities encountered by the children of new citizens, however, details of their adaptation to urban life and the exploration of the reasons for deep social structure are insufficient. The study takes cultural adaptation as the entry point, the urban cultural adaptation of the students of GX Middle School in W City was presented through the questionnaire survey of parents. The research show that the family hukou type and parental occupation are the key factors for the cultural adaptation of the new citizen’s children. The sudden changes in urban culture and lifestyle have led to a lack of security for the children of the new citizens; the cultural awareness of the new citizens has changed, and the concept is still under going transformation; the new citizens still regaid school education as the main channel and hope for the upward mobility of their children. However, only relying on the strength of the new citizens is difficult to achieve urban cultural adaptation. Therefore, it is necessary to build a three-in-one collaborative training model that is supplemented by schools, families and communities, and jointly promote new citizens and their children to better adapt to urban culture.
