内—外群体理论视域下的图书馆工作刻板印象

Abstract:
摘要 文章借助刻板印象及内—外群体理论,通过分析图书馆员(内群体)、未来职业者(中间群体)和公众(外群体)对图书馆工作相异的刻板印象发现:公众眼中的图书馆工作是一份社会地位尚可、适合女性、清闲稳定的好工作;未来职业者认为图书馆工作基本不符合他们对“ 好工作”的定义;图书馆员眼中的图书馆工作是重复简单、不需要什么专业能力,还很辛苦,这一职业刻板印象与相对较低的职业报酬共同作用,严重打击了标榜自己为“高能力者”的高学历图书馆员,从而使他们成为快乐指数最低、离职倾向最高的人,即所谓的“ 劣币驱逐良币”现象。
Abstract: This paper applied theories of stereotype and ingroup-outgroup theory to compare the stereotype towards library work by librarians,LIS students and publics, The research found that library work is a job that is stable,respectful,comfortable,and appropriate to women, Librarian is not a good job according to LIS's students' criteria for idea professional wok . For librarians themselves,this work is repetitive and lack of profession,which goes together with relatively lower salaries,and stroke librarians with higher education. In turn,librarians with higher education have become least happy employees with low dedication to their job,the phenomenon of which is called “bad lenders drove out goog ones ” .
