哈佛大学竞技体育核心价值观研究
Research on the Core Values of Competitive Sports in Harvard University

摘要：主要运用实地调研、文献资料法与理论分析的方法，对美国哈佛大学竞技体育核心价值观和竞技体育发展理念进行分析研究，研究结果如下：竞技体育教育是哈佛大学教育思想的重要内容，哈佛大学竞技体育价值观认为：大学必须重视学生的人格发展，体育运动是培养人格的重要手段；竞技场上的获胜并非体育竞赛的终极目标；运动员在训练和竞赛过程中，克服困难，追求卓越的拼搏精神，是哈佛学生宝贵的人生财富和走向成功的动力。“通过体育竞赛对学生实施人格教育，建设使每一个哈佛人都感到自豪的哈佛社区，是哈佛大学体育发展的要旨”。哈佛大学通过竞技体育教育培养卓越人才的理念，受到全社会推崇。研究结论：哈佛大学确立的竞技体育发展宗旨和竞技体育核心价值观，对于拓展我国大学竞技体育发展的理论视野，以及高等院校和体育管理层深刻理解大学竞技体育的价值、功能与追求，促进当前我国大学竞技体育发展的转型有较为重要的现实意义。
Abstract: This paper made a research on the core values and development gist of competitive sports in Harvard University by the methods of field investigation, literature review and theoretical analysis. Results: Competitive sports education is an important part of the educational thought of Harvard University. Such values hold that the university must pay attention to students’ personality development, and sport is used as an important means of cultivating personality; to win in the arena is not the ultimate goal of sports competitions; to overcome difficulties, to seek excellent, such combatant spirits of the athletes in the training and competition are the wealth of life and the driving force for success of Harvard students. “Conducting personality education to students through sport competition, and building a community which makes everyone in Harvard proud are the gist of Harvard University sports development.” The idea of cultivating excellent talents through competitive sports education in Harvard University has been respected by the whole society. Conclusion: The core values and development gist of competitive sports in Harvard University is of important realistic meaning on expanding the theoretical perspective of the competitive sports development in China’s university, helping the Universities and colleges and sports managers to profound understand the value, function and pursuit of university athletic sports, and promoting the transformation of the competitive sports development in China’s university
