顺天??富民?乐居——《管子》的环境美学思想

Abstract:
《管子》的环境美学思想主要体现为两个和谐:一是人与自然的和谐。在人与天地(自然)关系的处理上,《管子》一方面提出人与自然相分,自然是客观的,人必须尊重它,依顺它,而不能违背它;另一方面,它又强调人与自然相合,人要善于用好自然规律,让自然为人类提供财富。二是人与人的和谐,它提出“人与人相保”“家与家相爱”“居处相乐”的重要思想。《管子》关于环境的认识建立在农业文明的基础上,更多地从农业生产的角度谈环境。《管子》同时也很重视环境与富民强国的关系,将善待环境看作是富民强国之道。《管子》的环境美学思想,体现出鲜明的农业文明色彩与家国情怀。
The environmental aesthetics in Guanzi is mainly embodied in two types of harmony. One is the harmony between human beings and nature. On the one hand, Guanzi put forward that man and nature are divided and different, and that the nature is objective. Therefore, human beings ought to respect and follow the nature and never go against it. On the other hand, it also stresses that man is connected with nature. Therefore, mankind should make good use of the law of nature and acquire resources and fortune from nature. The second type of harmony is the harmony among mankind. Guanzi had some important thoughts, such as “mutual protection between people”, “harmony between families” and “happiness in the neighborhood”. Due to the fact that the understanding of environment in the book Guanzi is based on agricultural civilization, it mostly discusses environment issues from the perspective of agricultural production. Meanwhile, the book also attaches great importance to the relation between environment and the prosperity of the country and the well-being of the people, regarding environment protection as the way to richen the people and strengthen the state. The environmental aesthetic thoughts in Guanzi reflect the distinctive features of agricultural civilization and the affections for one's family and country
