Abstract:

采用提拉法生长Na2Ce4(MoO4)7晶体,通过XRD测试证实其为白钨矿结构,空间群为I41/a. 测试晶体在400~1600nm波段的透射光谱,其在600~1600nm波段透过率较高,大约77%~79%. 晶体中Ce3+稳定存在,退火前后均未发生变价. 不同方向磁化率的测定表明,Na2Ce4(MoO4)7晶体为顺磁性且存在明显的磁各向异性,其易磁化方向与光轴方向一致. 采用消光法测试晶体在635、 1064nm处的法拉第旋转角,计算得到的费尔德常数分别为:-194.5、 -58.5rad·(m·T)-1,约为TGG晶体的1.46倍.
Na2Ce4(MoO4)7 crystal was grown by the Czochralski method. Structure refinement of XRD data confirms that the compound crystallizes in the tetragonal system I41/a. The transmission spectrum of the crystal in the 400-1600nm regions was measured,and the crystal exhibits a high transmittance in the 600-1600nm regions,about 77% to 79%. Ce3+ ions were stable in the crystal matrix,there was no valence change before and after annealing. The measurement of magnetic susceptibility in different directions showed that the Na2Ce4(MoO4)7 crystal is paramagnetic and has obvious magnetic anisotropy,its easy magnetization direction was consistent with the optical path. The Faraday rotation angle of the crystal at 635,1064nm were measured by extinction method,the calculated Verdet constants were -194.5,-58.5rad·(m·T)-1,respectively,which was about 1.46 times that of TGG crystals
