白雉山某铁矿尾矿料物理力学性质试验研究

Abstract:
针对湖北黄石市白雉山某铁矿尾矿料进行试验,根据试验结果统计分析尾粉砂、尾粉土和尾粉质黏土的主要物理力学指标。研究结果表明:该3种尾矿料颗粒级配均良好;尾粉砂、尾粉土和尾粉质黏土的密度平均值分别是粉砂、粉土和粉质黏土密度平均值的1.10~1.18倍、1.10~1.18倍和1.07~1.18倍;尾粉砂、尾粉土和尾粉质黏土的比重平均值分别是粉砂、粉土和粉质黏土比重平均值的1.20倍、1.17倍和1.14倍;尾矿料的压缩性与其颗粒组成和渗透系数存在相关性;在尾矿坝中同一种尾矿料深部尾矿料的抗剪强度指标大于浅层尾矿料的抗剪强度指标。研究成果可供尾矿坝的稳定性分析及工程实践参考。
Three tailings from a tailings dam on the Baizhi Mountain, Huangshi City, Hubei Province were tested in the laboratory. According to the test results, the main physical and mechanical indices of the tailing silty sand, tailing silty soil and tailing silty clay were studied by the mathematical statistics method. The results indicate that the grain compositions of these three tailings are perfect. The specific gravity of soil particles for tailing silty sand is 1.10~1.18 times higher than silty sand’s and the density of tailing silty sand is 1.20 times higher than silty sand’s. The specific gravity of soil particles for tailing silty soil is 1.10~1.18 times higher than silty sand’s and the density of tailing silty soil is 1.17 times higher than silty soil’s. The specific gravity of soil particles for tailing silty clay is 1.107~1.18 times higher than silty clay’s and the density of tailing silty clay is 1.14 times higher than silty clay’s. The compressibility of tailings is related to the particle composition and permeability coefficient. To the same kind tailings which has same density, the shear strength indices from the quick shear test after the high-pressure consolidation are greater than after low-pressure consolidation. It can be concluded that the shear strength indices of the upper stailings are lower than the bottom tailings in the same layer.
