Knowledge Endowments, Innovative Linkages and the Quantities of Firms with R&D

摘要 运用2000~2011年的中国省际面板数据，分析地区知识禀赋、创新联结对地区有R&D活动企业数量的影响。研究显示，提高地区知识禀赋、缩小地区技术差距可促进地区R&D企业数量的增加，而创新联结仅仅在创新跟随地区表现出不同影响。具体而言，企业间联结对创新跟随地区R&D企业数量增加有负面影响，产学研联结则有正面作用；地区技术差距对企业间联结有反向调节作用，对产学研间联结有正向调节作用。
The study explores the impacts of regional knowledge endowment and innovative linkages on the quantities of firms with R&D activities and the interaction between innovative linkages and technological gap based on inter-provincial panel data of China. The conclusions suggest that heightening regional knowledge endowments and narrowing technological gap have positive impacts on the quantities of firms with R&D activities, but innovative linkages show distinct influences conditioning by its types only in innovation-followed regions, inter-firm linkages have negative impacts, and industry-university linkage show positive impacts; the regional technological gap shows negative interaction with inter-firm linkages, but positive interaction with industry-university linkages
