THE SUZUKI GROUPS Sz(q) AND AUTOMORPHISMS OF LINEAR SPACES

本文研究了线性空间的几乎单的线传递自同构群.利用有限线性空间上线传递自同构群的经典结论,以及Suzuki群Sz(q)的性质,获得了线性空间上线传递且点本原的自同构群的基柱不是Sz(q)的结果,推广了关于线传递性空间的已有结果.
In this paper, we investigate almost simple line-transitive groups of automorphisms of linear spaces. By using classical results about line-transitive groups of automorphisms of finite linear spaces and some properties of Suzuki groups Sz(q), we obtain that the socle of the group of automorphisms of linear spaces which is line-transitive and point-primitive is not Sz(q), which generalizes some known results about line-transitive linear spaces
