Understanding the cosistency of metabolism and immunitybased on their treatments of exogenous substances

生物医学常把代谢和免疫视为两个截然不同的概念，但从维护生物体“纯洁性”和“稳定性”来看，代谢和免疫共同承担着处理物质（特别是外源性物质）入侵的职能。本文就此问题从机体处理外源性物质的方式入手，简要阐述了代谢和免疫的区别与联系，并认为代谢和免疫存在一致的生物学作用。
Metabolism and immunity are often regarded as two distinct concepts in biomedical sciences. However,metabolism and immunity share the common function of treating the invading exogenous substances to maintain “purity”and “stability” of the organism.
