当前的癌症治疗模式亟待改变
The current cancer treatment model needs to be changed

我国目前治疗癌症主要是沿用西方的治疗模式，平均5年生存率不到美国的一半，因此有必要改变当前的治癌模式。结合我国的国情，利用中医的特色与优势，将手术、放疗与化疗等西医的治疗手段，进行中医理论改造，建立起以中医扶正祛邪理论为指导的一种全新的治癌模式，即中医完全治疗模式，发挥中医中药的主导作用，有理、有利、有节地应用手术与放化疗。这种模式在理论上是可行的，在实践中通过不断探索，也取得了一定的可喜成果。
Currently the treatment of cancer in China is mainly based on the western medical treatment methods. Themean five-year survival rate in China is less than half that in America. It is necessary to change the current treatmentmode. Considering the conditions of our country, we suggest the western medical methods like surgery, chemotherapy andradiotherapy be reformed using the theories of traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) to establish a new TCM comprehensivetreatment mode for cancers. The mode is in line with the theory of “strengthening body resistance and eliminating evil”.It calls for the reasonable use of surgery, chemotherapy and radiotherapy combined with the major effect of TCM. Thiscomprehensive treatment mode is reasonable in theory and fruitful in practice
