Overall concept and treatment based on syndrome differentiation are not unique to traditional Chinese medicine

整体观、辨证论治是中医学的两大特色，文章通过对比中西医诊疗模式，提出整体观与辨证论治并非 中医学独有，西医学在诊疗疾病过程中同样离不开整体观与辨证论治。文章指出中西医体系实质上有着密切的联 系，为中西医学进一步结合提供理论依据。
The overall concept and the syndrome differentiation and treatment are the two characteristics of traditional Chinese medicine (TCM). In this paper, we contrast diagnosis and treatment patterns of Chinese and western medicine to prove that the overall concept and the syndrome differentiation and treatment are not unique to TCM, and western medicine also possesses the two features. We also point out that Chinese and western medicine systems are closely related. Essentially theoretical basis is provided for the further combination of Chinese and western medicine
