Rethinking the similarities of allergic diseases and autoimmune diseases from the perspective of integrated traditional Chinese and western medicine

从中西医结合角度探讨过敏性疾病及自身免疫性疾病共性，确定该类疾病“本虚标实”病性特征， “外邪袭扰，正气不足，变生内格”是过敏性疾病及自身免疫性疾病的本质。分析当前治疗存在的问题，考虑 “抗生素滥用”可能是其发病率升高的一个诱因。提出“祛邪”、“扶正”、“养神”等治法治则。
The article attempts to reveal the certain similarities shared by the allergic diseases and autoimmune diseases from the perspective of integrated traditional Chinese and western medicine. It finds out that the two diseases bear the similar pathogenesis—“deficiency of origin and excess in superficiality”. Specifically, “exogenous pathogens invasion, healthy qi deficiency, and pathogenic qi flowing in the body” are their essential nature. It is considered that the abuse of antibiotic might be one of the causes of the two diseases. On the basis of that, the article further puts forward the corresponding treatment principles such as strengthening healthy qi to eliminate pathogens and attaining mental tranquility
