学术的繁荣与发展离不开学术批评，但是目前国内医学期刊的批评、争鸣、对话功能明显弱化，严重制约学术的健康发展。医学期刊应坚持学术批评方针，应成为学术批评的主阵地，应引导学术批评走向规范。惟有如此，中国的医学期刊才能不辱这个时代赋予的光荣使命；惟有如此，中国的医学研究才能达到这个时代要求的辉煌巅峰。
