The construction of the holistic integrative medicine (HIM) model represents the ongoing trend of the world’s medicine towards holism, and it reveals that the current medical system is still defective in terms of reductionism. HIM embodies the integration of dialectics, logic and epistemology in medical fields. It means the initiation of medical integrative model. Against the background of the continuous evolution of clinical disease spectrum, the relevant philosophical review of this new model can provide some methodological guidance for the construction and perfection of medical model. Great efforts are demanded to achieve a multifold integrated medical prospect with the unity of knowledge and action
