孔子“乐”论的道德内蕴与伦理价值

孔子关于“乐”的论述可以说是中国传统音乐思想的一个重要源头，他提出礼乐并举的思想，将“乐”的作用提升到教化人心、调节社会秩序的高度，认为人们可以开启通向个体道德提升与社会秩序恢复的道路，从而沟通审美与道德，并且将伦理规范在音乐的体验中内化为道德良知，并以此为基础实现自上而下的社会伦理秩序。因而，可以说，“乐”在孔子那里绝不仅仅是一种娱乐或审美手段，而是伦理道德的载体与实现方式。
Confucius’ discussions on music constitute an important source of Chinese traditional musicthoughts. He proposed that li 礼（rituals）and yue 乐（music）should be of the same rank， and even upgradedmusic as an effective way to cultivate good conscience for human beings and maintain the social order. Bymusic， Confucius believed， people can improve their personality and keep the society in order. In this way， theaesthetics and ethics are connected by music：it enables the moral principles to be incorporated as an inner partinto the moral consciousness and on this basis the social ethical order can be achieved in a top down manner.Therefore， music in Confucius’s thoughts is not only a matter of entertainment or aesthetic， but a means of andapproach to good morality
