碳含量对反应等离子喷涂TiCN涂层的影响

Abstract:

以廉价Ti粉和碳黑为原始粉末,采用喷涂造粒制备Ti-C团聚复合喷涂材料,并通过反应等离子喷涂在 氮气气氛下合成TiCN涂层. 使用X射线衍射仪(XRD)、扫描电子显微镜(SEM)及显微硬度计对涂层进行表 征,探讨了碳含量(14.3%,16.7%及20%)对TiCN涂层物相组成、显微结构及显微硬度的影响. 结果表明: 所制备的涂层均由TiC0.2N0.8和少量钛的氧化物组成,随着碳含量的增加,钛的氧化物含量降低. 涂层为典型层 状结构,存在少量裂纹及孔洞,当碳含量为20%时,制备的涂层相对致密,缺陷最少. 此外,涂层由细小等轴 晶和柱状晶组成,当碳含量为20%时,制备的涂层平均显微硬度最高,为(1589±98.7) Hv0.2,这是晶粒细化 和显微结构致密的结果.
AnagglomeratedTi-CfeedstockforreactivesprayingpreparedbysprayinggranulationwithcheapTipow? derandblackcarbonasrawpowder.TiCNcoatingswerefabricatedbyreactiveplasmaspraying(RPS)withN2.Theef? fectsofcarboncontent(14.3%,16.7% and20%)onphasecomposition,microstructureandVickersmicrohardnessof coatingswereinvestigatedbyX-raydiffraction(XRD), scanningelectronmicroscope(SEM)andVickersMicrohardness Tester.TheresultsshowedthatallthecoatingsconsistedofTiC0.2N0.8andminortitaniumoxides,andtheamountoftitani? umoxidesdecreasedwiththeincreasingcarboncontent.Allthecoatingspossessedatypicallaminatedstructurewith somedefects(cracksandpores),andarelativelydensemicrostructurewasobtainedwhenthecarboncontentwas20%. Inaddition,theplasmasprayedTiCNcoatingswerecomposedofnumerousfineequiaxedcrystalandcolumnarcrystal. Themicrohardnessofcoatingsprayedwithcarboncontentof20%was(1589±98.7)Hv0.2,whichwasthehighestamong thesethreecoatings.Thiswasattributedtothedensemicrostructureandrefinementofgrainsize.
