Challenges and possibilities of the pedagogical practice in hospitals

This study aimed to find out what the challenges of teaching practice in the hospital setting. It is a survey conducted from July 27 to October 22, 2013, in two public hospitals in the Federal District, based on participant observation and data collection with two teachers, who work in these hospitals. The central question sought to answer the question: what challenges do the teaching professional in the field of health, especially in the hospital setting? It was concluded that the challenges and possibilities of the work of a teacher in the hospital environment are complex and multidimensional, establishing itself as a rich space for personal and professional development, and more educators are encouraged to act in these spaces
