Abstract:

accordingtotheactualsizeofcoolingtubebundleandthearrangementofcoolingtriangleofasurfacecondenseraluminumexchangers(scal)naturaldraftcoolingtower,thegeometricmodelofheattransferelementsatthetowerbottomwasestablished.onthebasisoftherngk?εturbulencemodelandporousmediummodel,three?dimensionalnumericalsimulationwascarriedoutfortheinnerandexternalflowfieldoftheaircoolingtower,toinvestigatetheinfluenceofenvironmentalconditionsonthetower'soperationperformance.theresultsshowthat,withanincreaseinambientwindspeed,theinletairspeedatwindwardsideofthetowerincreasesgradually,whilethatatcrosswindsideandleesidedecreasesandtendstobeobvious;thetowerventilationrateandoutletairspeedincreasesatfirstandthendecreases,andtheirmaximumvaluesappearwhenthewindspeedis2m/s.
