Abstract:
tooptimizethetwo?phaseflowcharacteristicsoffluegasandslurrydropletsinspraydryingtower,anequalizingplatewasinstalledinsidethetower.thefluentsoftwarepackage,turbulencemodelandthestochasticmodelofdroplettrackwereadoptedinnumericalsimulation.resultsshowedthat,theaveragespeedoffluegasalongthetoweraxiswasthegreatest;thetemperaturevariationinthevicinityofspraynozzlewasthelargest;whentheinletfluegasspeedvwas4m/s,thetemperaturegradientvariationinsidethetowerwasthemaximum,andtheslurrydropletsfullfilledthetower;withanincreaseinthediameterofholeareaonequalizingplate,theresistanceintowerwasgraduallydecreased,andtheviscositytothewallofslurrydropletsfirstincreasedandthenreduced.
