孤独的探索与前进 ――民国佛教小说创作及理论初探

通过梳理民国佛教小说的创作及理论研究,将民国以来佛教小说的发展分为民国初年至二十年代末的过渡期、从二十年代末至三十年代末的发展期和四十年代的开拓期三个阶段进行了分析; 对佛教小说为数不多的理论进行了历时研究,并从现代文学及佛教文学发展的宏观角度分析了佛教小说创作与理论没能同步发展的悖谬之处,旨在为现代文学史的研究提供一个新的研究空间。
In this paper, we systematically review the creation of Buddhist novels and relevant theoretical studies on such novels during the period of the Republic of China by dividing the development of the Buddhist novels into three periods: initial(1911―1928); intermediate(1928―1937); and final(1938―1949). We also give a diachronic survey to the relatively inadequate theoretical studies on Buddhist novels and analyze the reason why there was such a big discrepancy between the creation of Buddhist novels and the theoretical studies on them. All this is intended to explore a new area for the studies on the history of modern literature
