白垩纪?古近纪古生物地理区的变化与印度和亚洲的碰撞Keywords: India-Asiancollision,Orbitolinids,Bivalve,Paleobiogeography Abstract: GeologicstudiesoftheLateCreta-ceousPaleogenestratigraphicrecordofsouthernTibetrevealdistinctepisodesofcollisionandpostcollisionalcompression.ThecompositionofsedimentsexposedalongtheIndus-YarlungZangbosuture,tectonicdeformation,paleomagnetism,mag-maticactivityoftheGangdeseArc,highpressuremetamorphism,paleobiogeographyandterrestrialbi-otachangeshavebeenvariouslyusedtodiagnosethetimingofIndian-Eurasiancontinentalplatescollision.Amongthem,paleobiogeographyandmarinefaciescessationarevisiblescenariostotracethecontinentalcollision.ThisstudyrecognizedthatdramaticchangesofpaleobiogeographyhappenedduringearlyPaleo-gene.
