陕西蓝田公王岭猿人遗址处L15层磁组构特征及意义

Abstract:

四十多年前,考古学者在陕西省西安市东南约70km的蓝田县发掘出著名的蓝田猿人头骨化石,同时发现的还有丰富的具有南方色彩的哺乳动物群化石[1]。An等[2]结合古地磁研究将蓝田公王岭的黄土地层与洛川黄土剖面对比后认为猿人头骨出土层位应与L15下粉砂层中部相当,利用平均沉积速率外推计算其年代约为距今115万年。
