In1919,whileonavisittoWuning,Kiangsi,IhappenedtocrossarockexposurealongthenorthernslopeofShuangchiaoshan(双桥山)1mileandhalfSSE,ofHonlu(横路).Myattentionwasimmediatelyattractedbythepresenceofapeculiarbed,whichconsistsofafine,grayclaymixedupwithsandsofvarioussizesandsub-angularpebblesandwhichhasathicknessofabout5m.~2
