Abstract:

Accordingtotheproductionindexoflintcottonyieldover100kgpermu(1/15ha)andtherelationshipbetweentheclimatefactorsandthedistributionoftimeandspaceforcottonbollsettingin1985—1990,weestablishedamodelofculturaltechniquesofcottonleaf-age-ad-justing-controllingforenhancingearlymaturity.Byutilizingtheprincipleofleaf-agemodelandtheprincipleofregulatingnutrientdistributionwithDPC(Mepiquatechloride),theplantsweretreatedwithDPCinpropertime.Anewtypeofpopulationplantpatternswassetup.Itcharacter-izedbyhighpopulationdensity,dwarf,highbollweight,bollsnearnodes,highenergyandlowconsumption,shortdistancetransportofnutrients,highyieldandgoodquality.Weputforwardasetofmanagementmeasures,i.e.adjustingbollsettingstage,adjustingandcontrollingbollset-tingstructure,stablyapplyingN,increasingP,supplementingplantswithK,increasingirrigationefficiency,techniqueswereappliedanddemonstratedinlargeareasinhighyield.
