Abstract:

TheappropriatedensityofthehybridswithdifferentplantmorphotypesandgrainyieldofmainmaizehybridsinHenanprovinceunderdifferentconditionsandindifferentplaceshavebeenstudiedformanyyears.Theresultsindicaltethatallthelightintensityinmiddleandlowpartoftheplant,thesingleleafweight(SLW)andthephotosyntheticintensitydecreasere-markablywiththeincreaseofplantdensityandleafareaindex(LAI),andthatallthecharactersofthesirgleplantyieldbecorneinferiorwithdifferentmagnitudes.Buttheseriousnessisslighterforcompacttypehybridsthanthatforspreadones.Underhighyieldcondition,thedesirabledensityis4250to5000plantspermu(666.67m~2)forcompactmaizehybridsand3300to3500plantsforspreadones.Theyielddifferencesbetweenthetwokindsofhybridvarywiththeyieldlevels.
