Abstract:The purpose of this paper is to introduce a hybrid iterative algorithm for finding a common element of the set of solutions of a generalized equilibriumlike problem (GELP) and the set of common fixed points of nonexpansive mappings in Hilbert space. Under suitable conditions by the viscosity approximation method, some strong convergence theorems for approximating to this common elements are proved. The results presented in the paper extend and improve some recent results.Key words:viscosity approximation method; generalized equilibrium problem; nonexpansive mapping; fixed point2000 MSC:47H09; 47H10; 47H17
