FacileSynthesisofGold-nanoparticles-decoratedPolymerAssembliesandCore-ShellGoldNanoparticlesUsingPluronicBlockCopolymersKeywords: goldnanoparticles,Pluronic,nanocomposite,core-shellstructure,assembly Abstract: Synthesisofgoldnanoparticles(AuNPs)andPluronictriblockcopolymercompositeinaqueousmediumwasstudied.Gold-polymernanocompositewithdifferentstructureswasfabricatedbytailoringthemolarratioofgoldprecursorstoPluronicP123moleculesorpHvalueoftheP123solution.Whenalowervolumeratioof[AuCl4-]/[P123](0.05)wasemployedatpH11.1,ananostructuresimilartoplumpuddingwasobtained.AuNPswithanaveragediameterof13.1nmwereembeddedinPluronicassemblies,andeachoneheldabout21singlegoldnanoparticles.When[AuCl4-]/[P123]wasincreasedto0.1,core-shellstructurewasobtainedifthepHvaluewasintherangeof10.6~11.6,whilegoldpolyhedrawerefabricatedwhenpHvaluewas8.1.Typicalcore-shellAuNPshadanaveragediameterof9.6nmwithanarrowsizedistribution,whilegoldpolyhedraswithameandiameterof12.8nmwasobtained.Thespecificmorphologiesoftheresultantnanocompositewerepresumablyobtainedduetothesynergisticinteractionamongthereactants.
