A game theoretic perspective on rough set analysisKeywords: game,theory,rough,set,analysis,decision,theoretical,rough,sets,probabilistic,rough,sets Abstract: Determiningthecorrectthresholdvaluesfortheprobabilisticroughsetapproacheshasbeenaheatedissueamongthecommunity.Existingtechniquesoffernowayinguaranteeingthatthecalculatedvaluesoptimizetheclassificationabilityofthedecisionrulesderivedfromthisconfiguration.Thisarticlewillformulateagametheoreticapproachtocalculatingthesethresholdstoensurecorrectapproximationregionsize.Usingpayofftablescreatedfromapproximationmeasuresandmodifiedconditionalriskstrategies,weprovidetheuserwithtolerancelevelsfortheirlossfunctions.Usingthetolerancevalues,newthresholdsarecalculatedtoprovidecorrectclassificationregions.Thiswillaidindeterminingasetofoptimalregionthresholdvaluesfordecisionmaking.
