Abstract:

摘要 基于2010年中国综合社会调查(CGSS2010)的数据,本文从信息传播的视角对媒介使用类型与政府信任(中央和地方)的关系做进一步探讨。研究发现:传统媒介(报纸,杂志,电视,广播)和新媒介(互联网或者手机上网)的受众有着不同的人口、社会、经济特征,这些特征也影响了他们对政府的信任;传统媒介的使用对中央和地方政府的信任有着正面促进作用,而新媒介对中央和地方政府的信任有着显著的负相关;在不同的媒介类型中,新媒介对总的政府信任影响最大。尽管从短期来看,新媒介的使用消减了政府的信任,但长远来看,新媒介充当了社会安全阀的角色,对社会良性治理有着重大意义。
Drawing on the perspective of information communication, this paper uses CGSS2010 data to explore the relationship between different types of media use and trust in central and local government. The results are summarized as follows: First, the respondents of traditional (Newspaper, Magazine, TV, and Broadcast) and new media use (Internet or mobile Internet) have different socio-demographic and economic characteristics, which also influence their trust of government. Second, the usages of traditional media have the positive relationship with trust in government, while the usages of new media have the negative positive relationship with trust in government. Third, among different media outlets, new media plays the most important role in predicting general trust in government. Although in the short term, usages of new media contribute to the declining of trust in government, in the long run, new media works as the role of the social safety valve and promotes the good governance
