Development and Application of On-line Wind Power RiskAssessment SystemKeywords: wind,power,integration,wide-area,measurement,system(WAMS),wind,disturbance,probability,on-line,risk,assessment,security,warning Abstract: Becauseofthelarge-scaleintegrationofwindpower,thedynamiccharacteristicsofpowersystemhavemanyuncertaineffects.Basedondeterministicanalysismethods,traditionalon-linesecurityassessmentsystemcannotquantitativelyestimatetheactualoperatingconditionsofthepowersystemforonlyconsideringthemostseriousandcredibleaccidents.Therefore,therisktheoryisintroducedintoanon-linesecurityassessmentsystemandthenanon-lineriskassessmentsystemforwindpowerisdesignedandimplementedbycombiningwiththedynamicsecurityassessmentsystem.Basedonmultipledataintegration,thewindpowerdisturbanceprobabilityisavailableandthesecurityassessmentofthepowergridcanobtainsecurityindicesindifferentaspects.Theoperatingriskindexisanexpectationofseverity,computedbysummingupalltheproductsoftheresultprobabilityanditsseverity.Analysisresultsarereportedtothedispatchersinon-lineenvironment,whilethecomprehensiveweaklinksareautomaticallyprovidedtothepowerdispatchingcenter.Theriskassessmentsysteminoperationcanverifythereasonablenessofthesystem.
