Abstract:

Unintentionalislandingphenomenonhasbeenoneofthemostimportantproblemsofgrid-connectedphotovoltaicinverters.Topreventthisphenomenon,allkindsofanti-islandingmethodshavebeendiscussed.Thispaperpresentsacombinedactiveislandingdetectionmethod,whichconsistsofactivefrequencydriftmethodandautomaticphase-shiftmethod.Thetraditionalactiveanti-islandingmethodsofgrid-connectedPVinvertersbearnondetectionzonepossibilitiesforcertainparalleledRLCloads.Thecombinedmethodshowsislandingdetectionabilityeffectively,anditcaneliminatenondetectionzonesevenintheworstcaseconditions.Simulationindifferentloadconditionsisperformedforverification.
