Abstract:

TheMeridianProjectisaground-basednetworkprogramtomonitorsolar-terrestrialspaceenvironment,whichconsistsofachainof15ground-basedobservatorieslocatedroughlyalong120°Elongitudeand30°Nlatitude.TheMeridianprojectstartedin2008,anditsconstructionwascompletedby2011.TheintegrationandtestphaseoftheMeridianProjectconductedin2011demonstrateditsobservationcapabilitiesasexpected.Theprojectwillbeinfulloperationin2012.ThisreportgivesanoverviewoftherecentdevelopmentandpreliminaryresultsoftheMeridianProjectsince2010.
