Abstract:

?AmultiwallcarbonnanotubemodifiedelectrodepreparedbyincorporatingmultiwallcarbonnanotubesintheelectrodeofasensorandnaphtholgreenasahomogeneousmediatorwasusedasavoltammetricsensorforthedeterminationofN-actylcysteine(N-AC)inthepresenceoftryptophan(Trp).ThevoltammogramsofdifferentialpulsevoltammetryofN-ACinamixturewithTrpwereseparatedfromeachotherbyapotentialdifferenceof200mV,whichallowedthedeterminationofbothN-ACandTrpsimultaneously.Undertheoptimumconditions,theelectrocatalyticcurrentsincreasedlinearlywithN-ACconcentrationintherangeof0.25-400μmol/L(twolinearsegmentswithdifferentslopes).ThedetectionlimitforN-ACwas0.08μmol/L.Thekineticparametersofthesystemweredeterminedusingelectrochemicalmethods.ThemethodwasappliedforthedeterminationofN-ACindrugandurinesamples.
