Abstract:

?Anewmagneticallyseparablecatalystconsistingofferrichydrogensulfatesupportedonsilica-coatednickelferritenanoparticleswasprepared.Thesynthesizedcatalystwascharacterizedusingvibratingsamplemagnetometry,X-raydiffraction,transmissionelectronmicroscopy,scanningelectronmicroscopy,andFouriertransforminfraredspectroscopy.Thisnewmagneticcatalystwasshowntobeanefficientheterogeneouscatalystforthesynthesisof1,8-dioxodecahydroacridinesundersolvent-freeconditions.Thecatalystisreadilyrecoveredbysimplemagneticdecantationandcanberecycledseveraltimeswithnosignificantlossofcatalyticactivity.
