Abstract:

?Anovelelectrochemicalsensorwasfabricatedbyelectrodepositionofgoldnanoparticlesonapoly(L-methionine)(PMT)-modifiedglassycarbonelectrode(GCE)toformanano-Au/PMTcomposite-modifiedGCE(nano-Au/PMT/GCE).Scanningelectronmicroscopyandelectrochemicaltechniqueswereusedtocharacterizethecompositeelectrode.Themodifiedelectrodeexhibitedconsiderableelectrocatalyticactivitytowardstheoxidationofdopamine(DA)anduricacid(UA)inphosphatebuffersolution(pH=7.00).DifferentialpulsevoltammetryrevealedthattheelectrocatalyticoxidationcurrentsofDAandUAwerelinearlyrelatedtoconcentrationovertherangeof5.0×10-8to10-6mol/LforDAand7.0×10-8to10-6mol/LforUA.Thedetectionlimitswere3.7×10-8mol/LforDAand4.5×10-8mol/LforUAatasignal-to-noiseratioof3.Accordingtoourexperimentalresults,nano-Au/PMT/GCEcanbeusedasasensitiveandselectivesensorforsimultaneousdeterminationofDAandUA.
