Abstract:

?TheZnO/MgOsolidsamplescontainingtheZnOnanoparticlesofcontrollablesizewerepreparedusingcolloidaltechnique.ThecatalyticperformanceoftheZnO/MgOsamplesfortheCOoxidationwasmeasured.ItwasrevealedthattherateoftheCOoxidationreactionontheZnOnanoparticleswithvariableaverageradius(2.01-2.29nm)showsnonmonotonicdependencecausedbythequantum-confinementeffect.
