Abstract:

?NickelmolybdenumcarbidecatalystswerepreparedandtheiractivitiesintheCO2reformingofmethaneatalowCO2/CH4reactantratiowereinvestigatedusingamicroreactoratatmosphericpressureandat973K.TheeffectofthecatalystpreparationmethodandtheNi/MoratioontheincreaseincatalystlifeandthepromotionofcatalyticactivitywereinvestigatedusingN2adsorption,X-raydiffraction,temperature-programmedcarburization,temperature-programmedreaction,andareformingreaction.The25Ni75Mocatalystthatwascarburizedat813Kexhibitedthehighesthydrogenformationabilityandgavetheleastcarbondeposition.TheincompletecarburizationoftheMooxidespeciesinthecatalystthatwascarburizedatalowertemperaturegraduallygaveamoreactivecarburizedspecies.TheNiMoOxCyinthecatalystwasmoreactiveinhydrogenformationduringthedryreformingofmethanewhileβ-Mo2Candη-Mo3C2werelessactive.
