Abstract:

?Silica-bondedN-propyldiethylenetriaminesulfamicacid(SBPDSA)isemployedasarecyclablecatalysttosynthesizeα-aminonitriles.Thesesynthesesinvolvedone-potcondensationofanaldehyde,anamine,andtrimethylsilylcyanideundermildreactionconditionsatroomtemperature.SBPDSAwasrecycledseventimesinthecondensationofbenzaldehyde,aniline,andtrimethylsilylcyanidewithoutreductionofitscatalyticactivity.
