Abstract:

?Nickelcatalystsareeffectiveforthesteamreformingoftarderivedfrombiomasspyrolysis,buttheimprovementisneededintermsofactivity,stability,suppressionofcokedepositionandaggregation,andregeneration.OurrecentdevelopmentofNi-basedcatalystsforthesteamreformingoftarisreviewedincludingthemodificationwithCeO2(orMnO),tracePt,andMgO.TheroleofadditivessuchasCeO2,MnO,Pt,andMgOisalsodiscussed.
