Abstract:

?Anewadaptivetime-delaypositivefeedbackcontroller(ATPFC)ispresentedforaclassofnonlineartime-delaysystems.Theproposedcontrolschemeconsistsofaneuralnetworks-basedidentificationandatime-delaypositivefeedbackcontroller.Twohigh-orderneuralnetworks(HONN)incorporatedwithaspecialdynamicidentificationmodelareemployedtoidentifythenonlinearsystem.Basedontheidentifiedmodel,locallinearizationcompensationisusedtodealwiththeunknownnonlinearityofthesystem.Atime-delay-freeinversemodelofthelinearizedsystemandadesiredreferencemodelareutilizedtoconstitutethefeedbackcontroller,whichcanleadthesystemoutputtotrackthetrajectoryofareferencemodel.Rigorousstabilityanalysisforboththeidentificationandthetrackingerroroftheclosed-loopcontrolsystemisprovidedbymeansofLyapunovstabilitycriterion.Simulationresultsareincludedtodemonstratetheeffectivenessoftheproposedscheme.
