三维小波八叉体分裂视频编码算法*

Abstract:

尽管基于3D小波变换的视频编码越来越受到关注,但其编码效率有待进一步提高.文中在对视频3D小波变换的统计特性及时间高频帧零树编码的无效性进行分析和讨论的基础上,提出一种时间高频帧的“零体块”模型和基于八叉体分裂的3D小波视频编码算法.该算法分别处理经过3D小波变换的时间低频子带和高频子带,分别对采用多级数集合分裂编码的“零树”结构和基于八叉体分裂的“零体块”结构进行编码.由于文中算法以“零体块”结构组织待编码系数,减少用于编码“孤独零”的同步信息.同时在编码过程中,只有当某个系数为重要系数时才对其编码,避免对不重要系数的反复扫描.实验表明,对于多种类型的标准测试视频序列,文中算法具有较高的重构质量.
