高速光通信系统中的偏振模色散监测和补偿

Abstract:

为了补偿高速光通信系统中偏振模色散(PMD),理论分析了以偏振度(DOP)作为PMD监测信号的原理;采用DOP监测法设计并实现了高精度和高响应速率的PMD实时在线监测单元,输入光功率范围为-20~0dBm,响应时间为1μs,监测精度为1%;使用PMD监测单元进行了43Gbit/s归零码光差分正交相移键控系统PMD自适应补偿实验.实验结果表明,PMD自适应补偿系统可在1ms内完成PMD的跟踪补偿,补偿效果良好.
