PHYSICALENRICHMENT——ANEWTHEORYONTHEGENESISOFINDUSTRIALPHOSPHORITEDEPOSITS, PP. 23-29 Keywords: geochemical,enrichment,Cambrian,mostly,formations,bedding,evolutionary,shale,carbonate,bedded Abstract: Sedimentarymineraldepositswerenotformedsimplyasproductofsimplereactionsthroughasinglekindoffactors,butwereoutputsofintricatereactionsamongacomplexsetofevolutionarynaturalenvironmentalagents.Theywereformedatleastthroughthreedifferentstages,viz.,theimbibitionandconcentrationoforeformingmaterials;thegeochemicalenrichment;andthephysicalconcentrationstages(Fig.1).Astoindustrialphosphorites,physicalenrichmntisofparamountimportance.Itseems,almostalloftheworldindustrialphosphoritedepositswereformedassuch.Ourideaofphysicalenrichmentwasfirstsetupin1980,duringthe2ndNationalSymposiumonMineralDepositsatHongchow.Sincethen,lotsofnewevidenceshadbeenaddedup.Inthispaper,onlythoseofphosphoritedepositsaredescribed.
