Seifert's conjecture for almost symplectic foliations

On a manifold we consider a pair consisting of a even dimensional foliation and a differential two form whose restriction to the leaves of the foliation is non-degenerate. We construct a homotopy of this pair through such pairs in order to open the leaves of the foliation. But one needs to allow foliations with singularities for this process to work. But the foliation we end up with is regular.
