Propagation of a Tsunami wave

FreeFem++ is an open source platform to solve partial differential equations numerically, based on finite element methods. The use of this software simplify also the construction of the domain in particular, one of the advantage of FreeFem++ is that we can build a mesh through a photo and we can easily export bathymetric data in order to consider more realistic simulations. We consider, in this paper, the BBM-BBM Boussinesq system with a variable bottom in space and try this system, first, using the mesh generated through a photo of the Mediterranean sea, then using the mesh generated through an xyz bathymetry for the East part of the Mediterranean sea.
