The bladder explosion arising during the urologic endoscopic operations are rare and dangerous. They are due to a production of hydrogen by hydrolysis of the water during the processes of coagulation and section. The hydrogen becomes very combustible once mixed with the ambient oxygen. We report a case of a bladder explosion during a trans urethral resection of the prostate.
