DABCO catalyzed synthesis of new 2-amino-8-arylidene-4-aryl-5,6,7,8-tetrahydrobenzo- 4H-pyran-3-carbonitriles from α, -bis(substituted benzylidene)cycloalkanones

The synthesis of new series of 2-amino-8-arylidene-4-aryl-5,6,7,8-tetrahydrobenzo-4H-pyran-3-carbonitriles from the reaction of α, -bis(substituted benzylidene)cycloalkanones with malononitrile under reflux conditions in the presence DABCO in good to excellent yields has been described.DOI: http://dx.doi.org/10.4314/bcse.v26i2.8
